A warm welcome to 22^nd Edition of Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy Workshop at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Over the past 20 years, we have focused on various aspects of knee and Shoulder problem to improve awareness among our younger colleagues. Indeed, management approach has undergone a sea of changes & Arthroscopic surgery is now well established in our society.

We have tried something different with the 22^nd edition. 30 delegates from yesteryears were randomly selected and based on their feedback, we finalised 4 common shoulder surgeries dealt by all of us. The same delegates were asked to suggest common problems that they faced while performing the surgeries in their own set ups and that became the basis for our scientific program.

This year SMAW is covering four common surgeries, Subacromial decompression, Rotator cuff repair, Labral repair and Latarjet. The surgical procedures are urther divided in 5 or 6 most crucial steps. Each speaker will cover a step through video presentation, followed by sufficient time for the audience to ask questions…just point by point discussion based entirely on RELIVE videos, where critical mistakes will be highlighted and measures to avoid them will be discussed.
